Future Goals

March Madness is almost over as the final four is set. It has been a great tournament with all kinds of upsets. Butler heading to the final four is amazing and hard not to root for them being from Indiana. My brackets were crushed after the opening weekend, so no shot to make any money in those pools. I do have Mich St. in a drawing at the local bar so wouldn't mind seeing them win it all either. It was really nice to see Kentucky go down in the Elite 8. So much talent, yet no results again for John Calipari. Hopefully the final four is as great as the whole tournament has been leading up to this weekend.

I have finally registered for classes this upcoming fall semester at Ivy Tech. I've been talking about going back for the past few years, but just now doing it. I was going to go to IUPUC but it turns out I was a draft dodger and can't get financial aid. I never signed up for selective service when I turned 18, had no idea that it was mandatory or even heard of it until I applied for FAFSA. This is one of the penalties for not signing up for selective service. So to all the high school kids, make sure you sign up for this if you ever want to attend college someday or get a government job. Talk about running bad!

I plan to hit it hard these next couple of months. My goal is to make 25k combined with rakeback. I will be playing $75/45's, $26/90's, $52/90's, and a few MTT's thrown in on Full Tilt these upcoming months. I've had some success in the $75/45's and they seem to be very beatable. We booked our hotel room for WSOP this summer, staying at the Rio from June 15th-29th. I plan to play at the Venetian Deepstack Series when I am playing live, I also plan to put in some volume online on days that I won't be playing live. That about sums up everything, I'll try to keep this updated throughout the next few months with totals of how much I'm up at certain points in the month. 25k!!!!!!!!!!

SNG update

I didn't have a very good month SNG wise, I only ended up around $1500 or so after rakeback well short of my goal. But overall it was a very good month with me winning the Freeroll on Full Tilt for $12k. I elected to just take the cash instead of using it on a $10k tourney. I also bricked out on the $240 6 max at the Midwestern Poker Regionals. I don't plan to play as much this month as March Madness is just right around the corner and I will be camping out at Mattsters house with his 5 TV set up. I probably won't update again until after this month. Hopefully will have our Vegas trip planned for the summer by then.

Take it easy
